As I'm sure most of you know by now (at least those who cared), the Metal Gear Online Beta has been delayed due to "high demand". Uncertain as to when we would finally be able to play the beta, Konami updated their site to inform us that it will return this Friday. Here is how they put it:
"Start date: Planned for 04/25/2008 24:00(PDT). While the start is planned for the weekend, it may change due to unforseen [sic] circumstances."
"Unforeseen circumstances" like wh...

So many mistakes with the Metal Gear Online Beta:
People receiving incomplete codes to unlock the beta.
Having to sign up for a Konami ID AND a Game ID, both with their own username and password.
Problems downloading the patch that is required when you first sign in.
The sign-up site for aforementioned ID's not working due to too much traffic. And now...the worst of all:
The Metal Gear Online Beta ...

Imagine my surprise when I discovered a disc titled "Charlie's CD" on the top with permanent marker, placing it in my computer to find all of the old Word documents I made back in 2000 that detailed every single game I owned, completed, and wanted to get for all the systems I still played games for (and even those not released). I even made documents for the Playstation 3, years before we knew a single detail on the console. I was prepared for the future, though I didn't stick ...

Thanks to Joystiq for the image. The Limited Edition box art for Metal Gear Solid 4 has been revealed for North America. Those of you who dislike the standard super-close-up-of-Snake's-face edition (which I happen to like), can pay $25 extra ($85 total) and get this box art featuring Snake and (Liquid) Ocelot. Along with the cool art, you'll get two making-of documentaries and the soundtrack (which is sure to be bangin'). The only problem is that this Limited Edition is ex...

A while back, I held an art contest on Neoseeker (back when my site was still called "Vito's Verdict: The Game Review Show"). The contest was for members to draw a character I came up with, called Tom Jackson. Tom Jackson is a douchebag lawyer from California who has lost touch with reality. He hates fun, and he especially hates videogames >:(. He believes every little thing related to violence, sex, or angriness in the media will turn our children into horrible crime-committing convicts...

Click for an incredibly rare photograph of me dancing. Yeah that's right, I don't use any mods. Finally. After several months, I transformed from a measly level 36 warrior with a sword into an awesome level 37 warrior with a mace! I'm talking about World of Warcraft of course. Is it obvious that I don't play that much? I never became addicted to the game like some, so while I have my health, I don't have a mount. It's a win/lose situation for me. Running ev...

These scans are from the May 2008 issue of Game Informer which features a Gears of War 2 exclusive cover story. The screens look much better in the magazine, so pick it up as soon as you can! I want to get this out to you guys as fast as possible, so instead of summarizing the article myself, you can read it for yourself in the scans, or, you can check the link where there is a summary of all the important points by SHOTEH FOCK OP at NeoGAF.

I discovered this little gem during my Garage Cleaning. A press kit for Metal Gear Solid 3, this item was handed out in limited quantities approximately every 15 minutes during E3 2004 (the game came out about six months later in November). What is it exactly? It's a CD containing the main theme of the game, "Snake Eater", that is held in the center of a fake cardboard vinyl record that matches the 60's theme of the game.
That g...
