VGXPO HOSTS 'BREAKING IN: THE GAME CONFERENCE'
America's VideoGame Expo is hosting a two-day seminar entitled 'Breaking In', a one-track conference aimed at providing employment tools and educational resources to people that want to find jobs in the videogame industry. At the 'Breaking In'conference you'll be provided with everything you need to know to find a job in the games industry.

Ever wonder what it would be like to hang out at VGXPO late into the night? This year we're excited to introduce our newest activity: VGXPO After Hours. VGXPO's night time schedule will include late night gaming, contests, an open LAN, live music and parties.

VIDEOTOPIA, the world's biggest, and best, gaming arcade comes back to America's VideoGame Expo 4! VIDEOTOPIA is a roaming exhibit that's traveled the world and features some of the best arcade videogames ever made. Plus, all of the games are set on free play!
COSPLAY Competition
VGXPO loves COS-Players! For the forth year in a row, we are holding the biggest videogame COSPlay competition in America! Competitions will be held on BOTH Saturday and Sunday. Look out A-KON!! We’re here to break your new world record!!

Taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in Philadelphia, on November 21 - 23, America's VideoGame Expo (VGXPO) is the largest videogame convention on the east coast. VGXPO 2008 will be our biggest show ever. So come join us for 4 days of gaming, cosplay, panels, exhebitions and much much more!! Tickets are on sale now!
Gaming Competitions:
Videogame Competitions are a hallmark of VGXPO. Last year we gave away over 50 trophies for competitions on games for the console, PC and retro platforms. Expect more of the same in 2008!
We are currently holding game tournaments for the following games:
- DDR (PS2)
- Super Smash Bros (Wii)
- HALO 3 (Xbox 360)
- Wii Sports (Wii)
- Nintendo World Championship 1990 (NES)

I might have to go to this. I have been looking for a way to get into the gaming industry. I have 1 job and I am a volunteer moderator for G4.
I have gotten screwed by a couple of gaming companies already. I was doing a lot of stuff for GGL volunteer and then they just cut me off and now they treat me like crap since EG got canned.
