I am Candace, in gaming I am known as VelvetCupcake. I am a girl of many faces and a talented individual. I run on an engine fueled by passion and caffeine. I am a model, a photographer, an Occultist and a full time geek. Gaming defines me. I have passion for gaming, it's what I do in my spare time and what I do for fun. I find it amazing that technology has taken us so far, the realism in games is astounding from Havoc to Euphoria. We we're once a people who ran on 8-bit and now we run on 1080p, it's amazing how far gaming and hardware has come. I love games for the fact that they keep getting better and better, more challenging and more entertaining.

Horror, Fantasy, Cosplay, and Video Games are a few of my all time favorite things. I like to fall asleep at night to classic black and white Vincent Price movies. I do allot of horror based photography that includes zombies, monsters, and serial killers. I frequently attend costumed events and masquerade balls, often you may meet me as an elf. The majority of the costumes in my closet are video game or Star Wars characters.

I do volunteer/charity work for the 501st legion and am SL-1613. The 501st Legion is an international group of costumers who share their passion for StarWars by dressing up in character. While in character these great individuals dedicate their time, money and hard work to help charities, children and make donations to various organizations in need. They are a non-profit group of incredible people who I like to consider my second family. While with the 501st I have helped with Toys for Tots drives, School/educational Fundraisers, various themed Christmas parades, and the occasional Star Wars events.

I frequent all the greatest geek conventions such as Anime Expo, StarWars Celebrations, Horror Expos, and Cosplay events. In my spare time I cosplay or do costuming, since the majority of what I do are video game characters. I enjoy gaming so much that the majority of the time I subject myself to wearing these silly costumes out in the public eye (usually during conventions and events).

I work in Radio, Television, and Film. I have been a host for various events, shows and have interviewed lots of people for numerous production companies. I model for some clothing and specialty companies (hair and SFX) and model simply for the sake of art. I have been in various visual media such as music videos, indy films, and TV hosting (also took a Television class, which was an actual studio, for 2 years).

I also work as a Game Adviser for GameStop. Although it's difficult working there sometimes because I am a girl... in a gaming store... who "knows nothing about games" (rolls eyes). But, you can bet that when I open my mouth and start talking about games, it's like a freaking rainbow pours from my mouth that is engulfed in every type of gaming accessory and platform known to man.
