Total Meltdown w/ G-Nitro, Church & Quig
Welcome to the official page of Pwned.com's first ever podcast, Total Meltdown, originally created by G-Nitro and his co-host Clov3r. Through 6 episodes we covered various gaming related topics, Pwned news, and interviewed great staff and members of Pwned. Unfortunately Clov3r had to leave the podcast due to personal reasons and other responsibilities around Pwned. Because of this, the podcast was forced on a hiatus, but saw a revival with a brand new co-host in Moe. After 10 episodes, Moe herself had to take leave of the show. G-Nitro was left finding a suitable replacement for her. Not able to find one person to live up to Moe's stature, G-Nitro found two new co-hosts to help carry the show. And those to are Church and Quiglin, and thus our journey continues.
Though at times mostly random, our show revolves around the Gaming industry and it's rapid evolution. We discuss all types of games - including the ones you don't want your parents to know about ;)
Our main concern is to get you the information you want to hear in an environment that is enjoyable and fun. We are PWNED.COM'S official podcast and we want to know what you think. Don't be afraid to call in or make requests. We want to hear from you guys! This is your podcast.
Our show is pre-recorded and uploaded for your enjoyment. If you have any comments, questions, requests or just want to chat, you can let us know!!
G-Nitro
G-Nitro was born and raised in Maryland, from the time his father purchased the Magnavox Odyssey2 when he was 3 years old, he has spent much of his life playing video games, spanning across a vast amount of consoles. G-Nitro prefers playing Japanese RPGs, First Person Shooters, Japanese Imports and Hentai/Eroge games. When not doing work for Pwned.com or gaming, he enjoys trying new brands and types of beer, listening to music and watching Asian Cinema or Anime. G-Nitro is also a very established trader on Goozex.com totalling over 800 trades. G-Nitro also has a lot of Internet Radio experience, spanning over 4 stations within the past 5 years, eventually finding his way to creating the Total Meltdown podcast. G-Nitro is also a huge fan of the anime Lucky Star. G-Nitro also co-hosts on Gametopius.com's podcast and has been featured on AverageJoeGamer.net's Podcast.

Church
Church was born in Indonesia and shortly after landed in the States, making his way to Detroit, Michigan where he spends most of his days. Church's parents got him the Atari 2600 when he was younger, but soon after found himself getting the Nintendo Entertainment System. Church began playing games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, Metroid, Mario, and the Street Fighter series. Later he found a new love for gaming when he spent a good majority of his days playing DOOM, Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem 3D, Starcraft, Warcraft, Counter-Strike and other PC titles. Church is also a internet radio host for asianload.com and sometimes for soompi.com when he isnt working or playing World of Warcraft. Not allowed a console after that, Quigs stuck to PC Gaming where he dwells today with a Wii and DS tagging along. Besides being the good-looking one here on Total Meltdown, Quiglin is also on the writing staff here on Pwned.com. If you don’t find him here in the Shoutbox, he’s most likely playing Team Fortress 2 with his clan, grinding away at Lord of the Rings Online or spending quality time with his girlfriend.

Total Meltdown has a new subscriber. The littlest Pwner has been catching up on the podcasts with me as BabyMoose has finally made his arrival. Born last week (May 12th) he's already enjoying late night rounds of "Call of Dooty" and "CRYsis". ;) He's quite a trooper and has brought lots of joy to Mrs. Moose and I. I posted a couple of shots of him sporting his Pwned.com sleeper for y'all in my album. We're looking forward to hearing the gaming antedotes and quips from G-Ntiro, Church and Quig when the Meltdowns resume!
haha. i love you silly guys. i really enjoy the podcasts every week, despite being the butt of more than a few jokes ;)
keep up the good work! Eric was a great edition to the show!
my question for this week is (well not a question technically but...) Tell us something you about you that we would be surprised to know.
Since i know you guys like to joke, and keep the show unserious (is this even a word? oh well) and Eric said Nate is a funny guy, Each of you should tell your favorite joke. :)
lots of ♥ from heyyyy heyyyy!
Hey guys, love the podcasts!
I play Resident Evil 5 on PS3, haven't beaten it yet, but I love ResEvil games. I have no problem with stop and shoot or stop and knife. I like it. My problem is that you cannot reload and walk at the same time. But other than that, I am very happy with the game. And I cannot wait to co-op RE5 with Quigs.
Keep up the good work.
haha i enjoyed this podcast, for the most part. i did not feel it necessary to point out, more than once, how much you enjoy chainsawing me.
(although you will read this after the gears 2 night, i want you NITRO and CHURCH to know i am coming for you!)
oh and i love you guys as well, you are "fucking awesome" too.
and you will have a question from me.
Great podcast...
Digital downloads to me will be a thing of the future I believe. I really do not want them to be but things happen that we can not control. Also as Nitro stated and the rest of the console gamers want "something" in hand! I like my game collection and being able to physically pick the disc up and play it. My question to you guys that you did not touch bases on was about the hard drives ( yes you will have to have a huge HD), but what if something happens and it CRASHES!!!! Will they replace all your games on your HD or are you stuck re-buying them all over again! I see this as a problem a HUGE Problem! I know you could maybe back up your files on an external HD but most people would not think about it or even want to waste their time. You know most people do not back up their files now and piss and moan when their HD crash in their computers. I see this as a big problem to come if it goes all digital. And would the companies have a legal obligation to give you the copies of the games again or could they have a clause in the contract that states that after you download a copy of the game that they have no obligation to let you re-download a copy of the game again; if you lost it or your HD was damaged? This is just something to think about as the future goes digital. Remember the terms and service agreements could state these such clauses and you would agree to them...(most people do not read them anyways right). The future may be now but I do not think it is time for a digital download only console. Too many issues need fixed with the disc based consoles before we can even think of going digital. I say leave digital on PC's and discs on the consoles.
Keep it real G, Quigs and Church! :)
Favorite moment of the Podcast :) haha.
Church: "Oh my god Im going to have a heart attack!!!! at the age of 12"
gotta love (or really hate) the kids on xbox live.
do you guys have guest talkers on some days..cuz i some issues and ideas to talk about on some games that are big atm
Mew is never gonna get to podcast with everyone else. ::sob sob::
i vote mew to do an entire podcast, herself. Let her host it, and interview people.
personally, i think it would be AWESOME :)
we would get plenty of boob, and dead fish talk.
LMAO! that would be awesome! But we all know that would NEVER happen! GEHY!!!!!
Totally love the show guys. After listening to the show, I am going to have to disagree, I love my PS3 and wouldn't trade it for a 360. I also think that the new additions to the show are great. Quigs you are my Hero!
church said you guys were going to try the mix on the podcast, it is called a Black and Blue, and you take a pint glass fill it half way with blue moon first the slowlyyyyyy add the Guinness. Some people even take a spoon and use the back side and pour the Guinness slowly over that. :)
