Mark Wahlberg, the guy playing Max Payne in the up coming movie has said in a recent interview that he has never actually played Max Payne before.

"I got more responsibility now than I've ever had with the kids and everything else. I don't want to be spending 14 hours on the videogame and then eight hours on the set. It's not going to work out."

I think that if you're going to be playing a character you should at least play the game first to get a feel for the character. But that's just my opinion. Will this turn out to be a good movie? No idea.
