Wow, the 360 still sounds so great and dependable! Excuse me while I actually play my PS3...or maybe my PS2 that has been working for over 8 years.
Tsk tsk. I still play my PS2 quite religiously. During this downtime, I've had a chance to get started on some classics again.
But I will agree with you. The 360 a let down. But so is cocaine, and a lot of people like that stuff. However, you will see me back on XBL after I shell out countless dollars to replace a system that SHOULD last a lot longer than a year. What can I say...I have a man-crush on Bill Gates.
It happens to the best of us man. I was red ringed 3 separate times.
and lol @ the pic. I CUT THE BRAKES, WILDCARD BITCHES..... YEEEEHAAWWWW.. Great show.
You know, I bought an Elite, and about 3 months later, I left it on over night to download the Mirror's Edge demo, I think it was, but I woke up the next morning and went to check the download, and all I saw was the power button lit up in red. I literally screamed "NO!!!!" I freaked out. But then I unplugged everything & hooked it all back up in a sad, desperate attempt to make myself believe it wasn't true, which, turns out, it wasn't. I'm not sure why the red lights were there, but my 360 pretty much works great. Minus the random times when it won't read my games. :( So maybe it's just like, a false alarm, your 360's attempt to give you a heart attack. ;)
Unfortunately, it's dead. I suspect it's the optical drive. Reading into it, it sounds like an easy fix, but at the same time, frustrating. Oh well, I just have to come to terms that Chauncey the 3rd is down and out. I have a new one on its way, so I might have a Letterman moment, toss the thing off a roof and watch it shatter.
