So now it is 2009 and we are getting ready for new games.  2008 was an amazing year to be a gamer.  We had Metal Gear Solid 4, Star Wars:The Force Unleashed (yes I love that game), Fable 2, Gears of War 2, LittleBigPlanet, and so on and so forth. 2009 looks to be a promising year, with Killzone 2, Halo Wars, InFamous, Resident Evil 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Uncharted 2, and maybe God of War 3.  I guess I'm not really trying to write a blog, but wondering what games gamers are looking forward to the most. Personally I can't wait for Prototype and CoD 6.

What about everyone else?

I didn't forget I was giving examples off the top of my head. Besides we haven't seen or heard from FEAR 2 in a while. I hope Monolith can deliverer and amazing and innovative game once again. But FEAR 1 had trouble making the next gen hop and the story of the second one does not sound all as great. They have had a lot of time with this game so I'm sure it will be great, but like all games you can't but the carriage before the horse.

The games I’m looking forward to the most are Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Street Fighter IV, inFamous, Punch-Out Wii (Hopefully 09, don’t let me down Nintendo), Bionic Commando, and Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2. There are more that I’ll buy but those will be my day one purchases.
