Today I downloaded the Bioshock demo for PS3. The game is virtually unchanged. The music is nice and crisp, the frame rate is pretty much the same. At first I was thinking to myself, this looks to be a nice ass port. Hat is tipped to the PS3 community. A 360 port finally done right!! ( points at YOU orange box for PS3 ) And thats where the celebration came to an end. The graphics in the PS3 version of Bioshock are poor in my opinion. I just dont understand, why does Bioshock look washed out on PS3?? It just shouldn't this way. I swear I have been through some serious ups and downs with my PS3. Some game arrive and set new standards for graphics and presentation. Games like MGS4, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, and from the looks of things to come. Motorstorm 2, and Killzone 2 will do the same. But WTF happened to the ports and multiplats? So far on the PS3, the exclusives win and multiplats lose. And sometimes lose big. I beat Bioshock on my 360 so im not just talkin shit. I have a 32" 1080p tv.. Trust me the difference is there. Has anyone else noticed this problem with past 360 PS3 comparisons?? If you have never played Bioshock before on 360 or dont even give a damn about graphics. Then I recommend that you check it out. BUT... If you own a 360 and PS3, stick with the 360 version. Bioshock looks really good haha still haven't played it yet but I like the 360 better b/c I have a 360 so yeah. :P

Jesus, I love Bioshock. I have it for 360. Apparently, I'm too poor to own a ps3. But I'm much happier with 360 games (besides the fact that i want to play MGS4 badly!).

I wouldnt know what it looks like on the ps3, but that sounds bad. but then again, isn't it just a demo? Some demos look shittier than the actual game

I have both consoles but FPS games aren't my thing so I don't know what Bioshock looks like.

That said, it's probably a case of the developers not fully understanding the complexity of the PS3. Complexity is the key word seeing as there have been several multi-platform games in recent past that have not only run better on the 360, but have looked better as well.

We can also go with the conspiracy theory that Microsoft paid extra to make sure that the PS3 port would not look as great as the 360 version.

I read in Game Informer that the ps3 graphics are SLIGHTLY better than 360 graphics. Either way, 360 looks damn sexy on an HD TV. Like seriously, my TV makes games look good enough to masturbate to (if you have the settings on the 360 right)
