Heeey youuu guuuys! The words spoken by our hero Sloth as him and Chunk emerged from the shadows to save the day, if only momentarily. The Goonies is a great movie and to any who have not seen it I have some advice for you; go watch it now. It really is a great film. But I'm not writing this to talk about The Goonies I'm writing this to let all of you know a little bit about me.
Let me start off by saying that this is my first social net-working site. The reason I chose this site is because like everyone else here I'm a gamer. The first game I remember beating was Kirby's Adventure for the Nintendo Entertainment System, it was a grand day for me, one I will always remember. It is because of that game that I play games today and the little pink puff ball that is Kirby holds a special place in my heart. To all of those who think Kirby is pathetic I have one game for you to play that will show his bad-assness, that game is Kirby: Squeak Squad. Kirby basically goes on a killing rage because someone stole some of his cake, now that is bad ass.
The NES was me and my brothers first gaming system and it's a great one at that. I still play it to this day. Other early games I remember playing are Punch Out!, Jaws, Super Mario Bros 3, and Duck Hunt just to name a few. Me and my brothers have always owned every system we could but as my brothers have gotten older they've grown out of gaming. My oldest brother only plays PC games now and my middle brother, well he's a Marine so he doesn't have much time nor money to afford them. So I've carried on our legacy of sorts and I plan to keep playing games until I can't play them anymore. Still some of my best memories are playing games with my brothers, whether it was watching my middle brother play Metal Gear Solid or beating both of their asses in Super Smash Brothers.
A few of my favorite games are Kirby’s Adventure, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Metal Gear Online (yeah I only played the beta but it was awesome and the full game will be even more so), and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan, I read the books and comics and have a pretty good understanding of most of the EU (Expanded Universe). One of my favorite TV shows is Battlestar Galactica, here’s to hoping Caprica can live up to the hype once BSG is over. So yeah, I’m pretty much a nerd. Anyway that’s all I’ve got to really tell.
