So outside of having personal issues at this movie, I really really enjoyed it. I'll extrapolate below, but I will say the visuals were awesome. They were much better than the first movie as well as being much better than the ones in Pan's Labyrinth. It did have a strong feel of Changeling: The Lost (Google That) but that was one of the things I loved about the creatures they made and used for the film. Unfortunately, I think this movie was way over hyped. For me, that kind of brought things down for me. Mainly cause I went in expecting something much larger than this was. Far be it that I say this was a horrible movie, but it wasn't as strong as it could have been. I'll explain below about what I mean. I have good and bad. The Bad: First, the music for this film was kind of lame. It felt like a hodgepodge of music that the directors and editors said, "Hey, this would be cool." Here's an example. But here's the film of last week. This is the story about a Mossad agent Zohan Dvir, who fakes his death so he can re-emerge in New York City as a hair stylist. He romances his clients by giving them "special services" in the back room. However, he is eventually recognized, and risks losing his newfound life and career. Ok, from just looking at the trailers and mini-press events that surrounded this film, it looked like it was going to be utter crap. But I like most of what Happy Madison puts out, so I braved it and was pleasantly surprised by this film. It is a little cheesy and over the top kind of humor, but then you realize that this is what they were going for in the film. To top it off, hitting every stereotype in the book to hit with this film. Let me say this again, but I have an odd taste in films. Especially when it comes to my horror films. House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects are my favorite of all times. First, the lead characters of the film were not totally your typical horror film characters/victims. They were actually people you could either feel for or hate.
