Teacher's Problem
My Rating: 9.3 / 10
Call Of Duty 4 - As far as video games go, I always decided to look past all of the First Person Shooters. Although, These games are very addictive, and fun i have a spot in my heart that always wants to block them out of my head. I guess, i developed this pet peeve when i was living with my room mate a couple of years ago. He was a Junkie, he was addicted to Halo. I sat through countless days and nights watching Master Chief run around the screen, I've listened to the guns being shot in surround sound while i was trying to sleep, and i witnessed living room wars when our buddies came over to play the multi-player games. And I gotta admit, i was caught playing it every now and again, but still i couldn't take it. After we moved out i was glad to get a breath of Fresh air and not hear or see Halo, or any First Person games for a long time. After, a three year vacation from these games i broke down and picked up C.O.D.4 I heard a lot of good things about this game and i wanted to see what all this talk was about. As a person who has never played the first three C.O.D's I gotta say I was really happy to buy this game. The Controls were Smooth and for a person who hasn't played a F.P.S. in years, i felt that i hadn't forgotten a thing. The Graphics are amazing and i wish i could just walk around and look at all different eye candy that was in the levels. Since I'm starting my F.P.S career again, I'm a little rusty. Needless to say i was getting shoot at Most of the time and dying frequently. One of the things i really liked about this was, when i was getting shot i was stumbling around when i was trying to get to cover and my vision on the screen was getting tunneled. I was Afraid, Afraid i was gonna die. I needed to find cover but, my vision is screwed up and i can't walk straight. The campaign is really good, but shorter than i expected. and the different areas you are throw into and different objectives keep the game fresh and playable. After you complete the campaign of your choice I'm not sure what the replay value will be for that part of the game. On the other hand The Online Play should keep you busy and interested for quite some time. Definitely pick this game up!

I've always loved the Infinity Ward Call of Duty series (excluding Treyarch's efforts), and this game is DEFINITELY no exception.
+Good, original story
+Addicting multiplayer
+Weapons have a very good feel to them
+Party system, no need to find a game through a server list
+Good visuals
+Fantastic sound design
+Perks (sort of like powerups, but more unique)
+Make your own class
+Satisfying rewards for kill streaks
+Excellent level design
+Good level variety
+Challenging single player on higher difficultys

-Graphics aren't really that much of an over-haul.
-Other players can destroy you easily

-No-scoping/Quick-scopers are annoying and cheap
-A few set-up exploits (extra damage ect.)
-Too much camping
-Single player might be too challenging for some
-Theres is aim-assist, which makes knifing way to easy with almost no skill required (Quite often a player will be about to run past you, and can press the melee button and do an instant and often automatic turn and stab you.)
-Sprayer and prayers
-Sometimes a player on the other team, or even your team can ruin the game by doing too good.

Those are all minor gripes, and this is one of my favorite games of all time. Since I do not necessarily use my + and - towards the score, I am still giving this game a 10 because I love it so much.
