Hardened and Veteran - Frustratingly hard 100% of the time
The story line is short. I believe it took me 3 hours on Recruit and Regular, and because of the difficulty Hardened has taken me 5 hours and I am only halfway through, and Veteran I have yet to play.
The choice of weapons are nice. They have weapons from Heckler&Koch (pronounced "Coke"), Steyr, FN, Benelli, Magnum Research, Colt, Walther, and many others. (http://www.modernwarfare247.com/weapons)
Special Ops: There are many different missions you can do here. There are 3 difficulties, Recruit, Hardened, and Veteran.
The missions include missions from the original Modern Warfare, e.i. AC130, and All Ghillied up. And then there is missions from the MW2 game itself. Play with someone who knows what they are doing. This can get frustrating over time.
Multiplayer: Horrid. If you want to be a sniper and hide somewhere... to bad kill cam is always turned on unless you make a game with your xbl friends and set a custom map. There are only three things that are nice about the multiplayer: 1) Multiple attachments (with perk) 2) Kill Streak Rewards 3) Become Completely Undetectable (except killcam) via Perks (Ninja Pro and Cold Blooded Pro).
There is a mode called Special Ops where you can choose single player, split screen or online for two players. The missions for this are fun but rage inducing when put on veteran. Even with two people I felt the rush of rage getting missions completed for those stars. To bad I played them on a friends 360 and not on mine, now I have to do many of them again on my account.
Ahhh Multiplayer, some gamers haven't even touched the other two modes and have stuck strictly to this option since launch date. Not living up to some peoples expectations can be expected and has been voiced in several blogs and game reviews. I feel it builds greatly on COD 4. With added incentives for completing challenges, perk pro, added prestige bonuses, map diversity, game modes, guns, guns, guns and not losing connection when a host leaves. Although some issues have arisen as of late with ammo glitch and javelin glitch. It is to be expected with any new game. I rather enjoyed the ammo glitch to be honest.
Campers, lots of campers, campers with shotguns. Campers with Uzi's. Campers with aKimbo slice (also a nice addition) weapons. corner campers, hot route campers and window campers. I think people have lost the art of FPS. Sad really.
All in all I like this game like a crack head likes crack. Although I only had to pay for this once.
