Skate 2 I feel is not much diff than skate 1 but all in all it is a good game with fun voice overs and funny videos other than that its just another skate game noting new and inovative but still better than tony hawk games alot better if i have to tell u a skateboaring game to buy then get this one

skate 2 is a great game. the new things that EA added to this game is that skaters can now get off their board, move objects, hand plants on half pipes and quarter pipes, foot plants, new places to skate, services to call people. the services are new thing in this game and new objective Thrasher hall of meat. the two that i know of are big black (bodyguard) and another guy who removes metal from ledges and rails. each cost money for them to do what they are made for.
    hall of meat is a new thing that is added. this adds a new way to skate. the objective of this is to crash as hard as you can. you will get paid money of what object the skater did. they did different ways of falling. you got the kick, tornado, belly flop etc. these are great things to know when trying these as it helps getting the challenges.
    other then that it is the same skate game as the first. I have to say it is a little bit better then tony hawk games. that went in a different direction after undground 2. now people can get 1,000,000 points for just doing a trick. skate 2 is based on realism of the game. the story of this game is that the town has taken away skaters skate spots and the skaters (you the player) is fighting to get it back.

better then the first skate gane i'm acually happy that ea added the new stuff like getting off your board and handplants but they also kicked up most of the challenges that also makes it more fun in a way for any of my friends who like skating games i would so recomand it over the tony hawk game because this is more realistic
