This game is amazing. If you loved the others, this one beats the hell out of both of them. Unlike Outland (in Burning Crusade), the environments in Northrend seem to fit with the WoW time period and setting. The music really fits with the areas and the new soundtrack is great. The new technology is pretty nice too. The mobs now interact with each other (and I don't mean a beast randomly chasing and killing a critter). You have wolves killing elk and eating their bodies, bears "fishing" in rivers, and rams battling each other. Completely awesome and entertaining.
Another thing to check out is the phasing technology they have implemented. While some characters see one thing, lets say, in Ogrimmar, you can be on a quest and see a completely different Ogrimmar than they are seeing. A good example is a quest in Dragonblight at Agmar's Hammer where you do a quest to go into the "shadow world." All the NPC's and Players there disappear when you accept the quest and you are left in a darker version of Agmar's Hammer with only ghost mobs all around. Only other people who are doing that quest can see you. In my opinion, the best example of this technology is in the quest where you have to reclaim the Undercity. I won't ruin it for you guys, so you are just going to have to check it out.
Another implementation that has never been seen are rideable NPC's that you use for quests! They bug out sometimes (new MMORPG expansion... of course it still has bugs), but when they do work, they are extremely fun! You battle azure dragons and drakes while riding a red dragon, you use a shredder to cut down trees, and you even get to sit on a giant's shoulder to destroy the scourge! How cool is that?
I must admit that Blizzard has, by far, outdone themselves this time. While the type of quest seem repetitive at times and the green quest gear all looks the same (so far, lvl 77), I think the pros of this game far outweigh the cons. The quest lines are more innovative. You become completely immersed in the story line and not just the game. And even though I don't RP, this game must be the highest level in heaven for an RPer. No joke. Go get your copy (must have original WoW and Burning Crusade to play) and roll Horde on Gurubashi (PvP North American Server)! :)
P.S. Also check out the new Death Knight classes! Any race can be one and they even come with exclusive skin tones and hair colors (only select faces can be used with the exclusive skin tones). You must have a level 55+ on a server to start a Death Knight and you can only make ONE PER ACCOUNT (not per server). While this class is fun to play, I think one of the best things is walking by NPCs that spit on you and call you a monster. The Death Knight's pet ghoul even talks when clicked (my favorite saying: "Ooo... shiny..." in a creepy voice).
P.S.S. This review doesn't even include the dungeons or raids. It is only from leveling, and I am currently only level 77. Oh yeah, they raised the level cap to 80.
