Audiosurf is a music based game, you are given a little spaceship looking thing on a transparent highway over nothing. You move the thing left and right to collect blocks on this highway called cars, and the cars appear in tune to the music currently playing.whaich is the whole point of the game. You find the audio files on your computer or on an audio CD to play ingame (if you don't have any for some reason it comes with the Orange Box Soundtrack for free) then you surf the audio highway collecting cars for points, slower songs give you a smooth ride on an uphill highway, and vice versa for fast loud songs.I have a massive amount of fun daily with Audiosurf, and it's only $10 :) ,in addition it isn't very big,you can install it in 90 minutes at 128kbps.All you need is music to play(and $10),so I reccomend this to anyone with VALVe's Steam content delivery service.

A new individual game which was first featured in the Independent Game Festival. It's become a smash-hit via the popular Steam Platform. The Premise of Audiosurf is you choose a small F-Zero-esque car that you drive through bricks which represent parts of the song and the track flows with the song, because it analyzes a song of your choice and makes a track for it. Because it allows for most to any song to be chosen, it's great to listen to and play with your music. The track analyzer is very accurate and makes great tracks to play. With the wide-variety of cars, there is many ways to play and the Leaderboards for songs are very competitive (Although if your song is named slightly differently you'll get a different Leaderboard) Like if the band name is AC/DC or ACDC. The game also comes with a few free songs, and often features new music through it's in-game radio system where new songs are updated online for you to play for free. For it's small price and addicting gameplay, you'll love it for it's winding tracks, bright colours, and all the wonderful fun you'll have just listening to your music and living your music. 9.2/10. It's an awesome premise that has been well-pulled off for an Indie Game. DEFINITELY worth checking out on Steam if you have it.
