Okami isn't a traditional 'gamer' game, and not my usual type, but I was attracted to it instantly. The graphics are beautiful, as well as an intuitive and unique gameplay. Very different from most games, you can pause during battle and use your 'paintbrush' to do special attacks to enemies. The paintbrush comes in to play often, and is used for many other things. I found myself just enjoying the silly storyline, and the pretty scenery. Not a hard game by any means, but just enjoyable. I only had a few complaints. One of them being that at times the game doesn't have enough direction to what you're actually supposed to be doing, but thats only at a few points, and other than that you can usually figure it out fairly quickly.
Two thumbs up as a nice relaxing, non competitive game.
