Gameplay: 9.0
The gameplay doesn't get any easier than this one. The basic setup is used today in a lot of FPS games, with additions of course. Very simple buttons for shooting, moving, and engaging in other Bond-esque motions. There are a few problems that could be dealt with. For example, Bond's trusty sidekick... er-- I mean high tech gadgety super cool spy watch. It's his lifeline. You can access everything from there. It's essentially Bond's massive pause menu. It could be annoying sometimes to be checking it for your mission updates or to switch to certain mission related items. But it's bearable and still fun. It makes you feel like a slick spy.
Story: 9.0
So I'm going to assume you've seen the movie or read the book. It's Bond, I mean... come on! It's actually quite like any other Bond movie/book. The British government sends Bond out on a mission to once again seal the fate of the world in an action packed thrillride! Wow... that'd make for an awesome tagline. But anywho, it's true. You play as James Bond Agent 007, a British secret agent and you're sent to help recover the Goldeneye which would dominate and destroy planet Earth. And your foes fall into place like the movie, Boris, General Ouromov, and my personal favorite Alec Trevelyan. It's enjoyable for everyone, and especially for that Bond fanatic!
Multi-player: 9.0
Oh god. the epic Bond matches I can remember like yesterday! Even after a decade in pwnage, Bond is still supreme. I would opt to play Bond multi any day of the week and over any next-gen games. It's epic, and it's fairly basic. It's not as advanced as CoD4 or 5, but it's fun. You have your basic weapons and inventory and really, just have fun with 3 of your friends. The maps aren't 100% awesome but it was for N64, who cares? You'll learn to love them all of their differences.
