Uncharted is definetly a game one should own if you have the luxury of owning a PS3. Not only is it beautiful but the game play mechanics work very well. The enemy AI is smart enough to take cover and shoot back when you leave cover making it challenging yet fun and strategic. The range of weapons you can aquire is quite nice as well, including my personal favorite the Dragonov sniper rifle. My only quaral is occasionally when jumping from ledge to ledge it felt like you could miss it by mear pixels causing you to fall to your death. Though it doesn't happen often, but when it does its very annoying. After a full play through I was satasfied with my accomplishment. There are plenty of collectables you can aquire along the way 60 in total giving you just one more goal to complete for every level.
The character design is stunning the protagonist Drake is quite the character. His development through the game is entertaining at the least. Full of quarky commentary and a quick witt he became one of my favorite game characters. As for the antognist you learn to quickly hate that guy...well all 3 of them. Standard money hungry quick to shoot at you bad guys. Though you don't learn too much about them you will quickly be noted that your character has ties to them in past adventures.

Thus the purchase of this game is inevitable. If you own a PS3 and have not purchased this game save some of that money you earn mowing laws or prosicuting dirty cops and buy this fucking game!
