Zero Punctuation Take On E3
Since I am a man of my word and like to tell you all about things that most of you probably know about, I'll be hitting this up as they get updated as well. The quick and dirty of it, is this guy does some great reviews and rants about games today. Granted, I have only seen on review where he praise the game 100%, but it always good for a laugh and see what others think.
This week's video is about how bad this year's E3 was. Boy do I agree with most of the point...Tags: Zero Punctuation, E3, Video
Is Activision Blizzard canning games?

The newly formed duo of Activision Blizzard has presented there schedule of releases. While many titles were mentioned, several highly publicized games received none whatsoever. Terminal Reality, 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand and most notably: Ghostbusters, were all absent from the list. The lack of these titles, as well as massive "realignments" with the staff of High Moon Studio and Radical Entertainment, is leading many to wonder if some titles and studios are being dropped because of the merge...Tags: activision, vivendi, blizzard, ghostbusters

The Guild: DVD
Being a man of my word *best Joker Impression*, on two fronts, I had to post something about this great Web series as well as their new DVD on sale at Comic Con, or you can get as of 8/1. First, I got asked by people here to make sure that the actors of the show knew about our site here. After three days of stalking them (pics below), I was having issues getting proper representation for the site, but I hooked them up with a professional implementation of advertisement. The o...Tags: The Guild, Legend Of Neil, Pimping, Video

In Gears of War 2 news, the people of Epic seem to really understand their audience. Epic loves us for exactly what we are, a bunch of achievement whores. Now while some people may be above spending time going through games solely to raise their gamer score, most of us are not. Epic has created a whole new type of achievement system, called "linked" achievements. Linked Achievements occur when someone obtains an achievement in the first game(Gears of War), this then unlocks new content in the...Tags: gears of war, gow2, achievements

Star Trek Online
So I frequent the Cryptic Studios stuff now and again, forums and booths at conventions. Hell, on Saturday, I even went to their VIP party for City of Heroes players and Devs. Please don't ask how it was. But this was something that kind of caught me off guard. In fact, I didn't know it was under their belt until today when they turned on their interwebs for the game sit and posted screen shots. The game? Well the title said it, Star Trek Online.
You can go and register...Tags: Start Trek, Cryptic Studios, MMO

Rise Of The Argonauts
First let me thank Mythicgriffon for hooking up this video as well as being there when we did our own little interview with this same guy. He was very knowledgeable about a lot of things and nice enough to entertain us for about an hour or so. No more gilding the lilly though.
I brought this up a while back when I first heard about this game from Codemasters. It was so cool to see another of the few games out there that revolve around Greek religion and stories. This...Tags: Rise Of The Argonauts, Video, Hades

More On Dead Space
I will apologize now if my next few news articles come straight out of Comic-Con 2008 or tie ins. I was way to busy to keep things up to date while I was there, but I will do my best to get it all out there in my personal Blogs and here as well. That aside...
This is some new stuff I caught on this very much hyped game from EA. They had a spectacular booth and panel for this game. With a dude in the full on armor shown in the trailers. Kudos to that guy for braving exh...Tags: Dead Space, Videos, EA

New RE:D Trailer
So this was one of the coolest things I got to see while at Comic-Con this year. It is quite a bit more of the new Resident Evil movie that they are doing. Unfortunately, it is a "Pirated" video that someone took. I was actually sitting not to far from the camera guy here. I've tried listening for my WOOO when Leon first comes on screen, but I get blended in.
A little bit that they don't show in the clip but was revealed at the panel was that this is kind of a continuatio...Tags: Resident Evil, Capcom, Movie

The beta for Warhammer Online is beginning to look a little
grim; with major content cutbacks that will affect the release I'm sure. This
month Warhammer online took out FOUR major cities and FOUR classes...
that is BIG. Warhammer Online is the upcoming major competitor for the
reigning champion of MMO's, World of Warcraft and with a cut back this big it
is either a really really good thing or a really really bad thing. With Age of
Conan slowly (but trust me it's not at all yet) falli...Tags: MMORPG, MMO, Warhammer, Warhammer Online, Men

Guilty Gear has always been one of my favorite series of fighter games because it greatly impairs our oh-so-beloved button mashers from pwning ass. Take Soul Calibur II for instance: when playing as Rafael, by repeatedly pushing one button, Rafael will rapidly flail his sabre, often leaving the other player no chance to retaliate. The control structure in Guilty Gear is so brilliant because rapidly pushing the punch or kick button won't get you very far: special combos are based mainly on the c...Tags: guilty, gear, overture, 2, fighter, 360, xbox

Think you have what it takes to build your own game for Xbox Live, and can do better than what is out there now? Well now you can, as Microsoft has announced that XNA Game Studio software will be made available to gamers who yearn to create their own video games. Micorsoft already had a trial run of the XNA Creators Club games
earlier this year which featured "Little Gamers", "Culture",
"Jellycar", "The Dishwasher" and others. MS has plans to introduce the

The Last Guy Gameplay Video
So at last week's E3 show, Sony announced a game called *The Last Guy. Pretty much a game a lot like Infected on the PSP. You run around and save people who are too stupid to save themselves and guide them to a secure location for evacuation. Good concept. Worked for me in the past. But then add on the fact they are going to be using Google Maps for the actual locations to guide people. So real locations will be used. Not sure if they will update as Google up...Tags: PS3, PSN, *The Last Guy

The Achievements Window
Ok, so the title wasn't as awesome as I would have liked, but I'm running off no sleep from watching Dark Knight last night and working today. Hence why I haven't been my normal reporty self. But that's not what you clicked in for.
It would seem that the rumors from before about achievements with the new expansion for World of Warcraft are true. There is a new achievement setup that is also coming with the Death Knights. Things like "50 Quests Completed" and making...Tags: World of Warcraft, Wrath of the Lich King

Mad World E3 Trailer
I know I talked about this game once before. It was only when there was a teaser for the game, but it looks like there is an even better trailer for the game that was shown at E3 this year. Like the title says, Man Darts! Watch the trailer and you will see what I mean.
Now after this trailer, I am even more intrigued by the game. First it looks as blood, if not more, than No More Heroes. Great game. Also looks to be chalked full of humor to add to the carnage. Whic...Tags: Mad World, Wii, E3

Dead Rising Ports To The Wii
Yes, you read that right. Well at least that is what I have been able to gather from a very broken translation of the Japanese magazine Famitsu. So if you were still waffling on buying an XBox to get this game, it will be out on the Wii. Should be good news for some people who will remain nameless, but they are on this site. Hopefully it will do as well as RE4 did when it ported over as well. Go Capcom.

There was a lot going on with E3 yesterday. Way more than I had a chance to keep up with. So, for your viewing pleasure, here is a long list of games and other videos that cam out of the E3 show yesterday. Some of them happened during the press conferences I posted yesterday for Sony and Nintendo, but I just couldn't find ya the videos online. But what's a day late right?
