All right, so I'm addicted. It's a healthy addiction though. It's not harming myself, or anyone around me for that matter. It sure does make my wallet cry, but it always leaves me very happy.
I've been playing for 20 years, as if I didn't feel old enough. I remember gaming before the internet boom, back when replay value was a secret world after the star road. I was there for the beginning of online "information sharing" which had us tearing apart our favorite games just to see if you could really obtain the triforce, or if Luigi really had something to do with that damned star statue in the court yard. These were times when the games were so amazing, we literally tore them apart at the seams just begging for more.
I want to review video games for a living. Yeah, I want to be that guy. I plan to review here free-lance style, and if no one really bothers to check it out, if nothing else I have a body of work to refer to, expand, and improve upon while I try to make a life out of this.
