Just for the record I have caught a number of users in the past few days exploiting the point system. I know we are to expect this to some extent but it seems to have gotten out of hand lately. According to the terms of service if you are caught exploiting the system your points are to be set back to your original 250. Is it really worth it?

Also...just so you know when you redeem your points every single point you earned WILL be verified to make sure it is legit and if they are not you then run the risk of being set back to 250. So please people, spend your time actually using and enjoying the site instead of doing things like posting nonsense blogs, making fake accounts to refer or uploading 200 pictures.

EDIT: One more thing, the more that you people exploit the point system the more we have to revamp things which in turn keeps the site from coming out of beta (aka you actually REDEEMING your points).

Here here! I totally agree. It's a slap in the face to those of us who actually earn points by doing it legit on the site. But there will always be those who can't follow rules and have to try and cheat. I hope you guys started cracking down and resetting accounts to 250 tho, and not just threaten it. That'll really curb the problem in my opinion. :D

Oh they won't riot...it's people who create a bunch of accounts from the same IP that we are after. One kid we caught today had like 42 of them :/

hey umm well about the whole ip thingy...i referred my brother, and my best friend, and they both activated from my ip...so plz don't accuse me of not being legit. i joined the 15th an just now have 1575 =/
