I heard about it thanks to Nuyo from the gamegirls in one of his topics, she said something about geting points on pwned for those who voted (of course i didnt knew what or who was pwned by that time) so i decided to give a try only for a while, during the g4 contest lasted, but now i think i will be staying here until i die, cool community and the people are nice. FAREWELL.

L337Lauren posted about it on Myspace and sent me an invite.

The lovely Miss [FFMAH] The Reclaimer posted a bulletin on myspace and I joined right away :)

I actually heard it through a google alert. I have mine set to search for beta tests and such, and when the announcement went out that pwned was in beta, I got an alert. Came and checked it out and have been glad ever since. if only the people I invited to join would actually follow through and join/participate.

There was an article on digg.com that linked to a gaming website, and on the side they had an announcement for the first true gaming society site, I was interested so I joined.

i was on ebaumsworld.com and saw a video that mentioned chicksandgames.com and they had a link to here and i wasnt doing anything so i thought i would kill several hours of my life that i would never get back

but after i asked her to send me an invite i didnt get one, and im guessing it must have done in my junk and i missed it. so like about a month later i was like hmmm what about that pwned site.. and joined

T3k's profile.. I had heard about it before through 1337Lauren's bulletin but I usually ignored it. Then I joined up through T3k.

I was like.. this sites probably gonna suck.. but then I actually joined and it owns.. and now I whore the fuck out of it.
