Two of my five pictures I have uploaded do not show up, nor can I set them as my main
picture. They are all around the same file size (50-100kb) and all have had red-eye removed in Gimp 2.x
What could be causing this?

P.S: They just show up as tiny rectangular black boxes.

no its actually because of the naming scheme you have for your pictures. im working on fixing it so it never happens, but its hard. basically just use 1 . and leave taht for the extension

I discovered it was because of a + sign in the names of two of my pictures.
i.e
Ty + Jeena in Living Room
Ty + Guitar Spikey

So other than making sure your pictures aren't named weird things.. what are the requirements for pictures you can upload to the site?

Try saving them at JPG
.PNG: 1.5MB pictures...
.JPG: 30kb (0.03MB)
Even if you max out the JPG quality which doesn't change the picture at all
(All my pictures are at 85% quality and they look fine) it's not usually more than half a megabyte. JPG/JPEG > PNG/BMP

Ah, my pictures are usually a lot bigger in filesize than that, so okay~ shall remember to resize if I want to upload more.

Or perhaps just link people to my flickr. Would mayhaps be easier.
