"The 9800GX2 is scheduled to be released on March 18th. Its retail price will be $599. The card features a core clock speed of 600MHz and memory clock speed of 2000MHz. The card also features 128 streaming processor units for each of it's two cores.

The 9800GTX will be released on March 25th. Its retail price is set to be $399. The card features a core clock speed of 675MHz and a memory clock speedof 2200MHz. This card features 128 stream processing units.

The 9800GTS is currently exepected to be released on April 4th at a retail price of $299. The card will feature a core clock speed of 600MHz and a memory clock speed of 1800MHz. Just like the 9800GTX this card features 128 stream processors."

Wow, It appears the 9800GX2 will rape the 8800 ULTRA, considering it's lower than the price of a 8800 GTX. =_=
Also, the 9600GT has already been released and it rapes the 3870 for a lower price. The 8800 GT still manages to come ahead, and you can get one for $209 off newegg and you'll get the 9600GT for around $179

Frankly, ATI cards have always been a real pain in my ass. They ran Half-Life based games like a champ back when that was the thing. But these days Nvidia is just dominating for the most part. ATI's aren't necessarily bad cards, but they're more expensive in my experience. Nvidia has been the real card in my arsenal for a while now, and I personally plan to keep it that way.

ATI just can't bring the goods to the plate like Nvidia can for me. Nvidia is easier to install and easier to deal with.
