Single Player= NWN2, Bioshock, COD4. Mainly because they're super fun to play and who didn't like Bioshock it's done by the people who made SS2 and it makes you remember when games were really able to make you feel.
Multiplayer= COD4, and DOTA. These games are just fun to play in general, and I know you're going to say WTF Warcraft 3 is old, but the DOTA map is new :-P
dota really isn't new in anyway(created in 2005), kinda like me saying zomg supermario bros game of the year. Cuz you can't beat a classsic :/ personally my favorite so far was bioshock for single player and I haven't really had any super great multiplayer experiences so I dunno what I would choose. However I do believe dota is a fun game and as of recently come into its own as a competitive game this year so I can definitely see where your coming from there.
Yes, I feel a clarification is in order. I was refering to the current version of the DoTa map, not DoTa as a whole. Thanks for the clarification Machinegun.
I tend to agree with carzy, while Crysis isn't exactly "user" friendly. It does have a fairly high end storyline, and stunning visuals. It just makes all of us cry because it costs about $1700 to make a computer that will run it.
I have played a bit of it on a 8800gts I liked the game not as exciting as I thought it was gonna be. As for the graphics and having to spend money to play it, personally i'd just wait until the geforce 9 and then play it on good settings and the card would be big enough for further games beyond crysis. I didn't see a point in spending money on a card that can't even play the best game on the market that means its already outdated in a way.
