When I played cs:s competitively I played 60-80 hours a week and ordered fast food or had my brother make me and bring me food. Every aspect of my computer was cs themed even have cs fan grills custom made and put in my computer.I had a permanent table/monitor setup at friends houses for lans and spent more money a month on internet and travel costs for lans than I spent on food. My friends and gf at the time planned an intervention but never went thru haha addiction to the max :)

Counter Strike Will do that for sure. 7 years i played. About every one, right down to 1.0 Beta. I got to the point when Source came out that i was playing about 60-80 hours a week. And really not thinking anything of it. I would have such lack of sleep i kept visine handy to keep my eyes watered so i could see. Then in 2007 everything changed....not cause i wanted it to. It was almost as if life wouldnt let me play anymore. HACKERS. Yea they have been there forever but in 2007 a HL hook was released that changed all that. It seemed about 3/50 players would hack but after the release i would say that number is about every 20/50 players now. Its so easy to hack it and this hack has been updated still to this day. Valve really let alot of CS:S players down by not doing anything, but im also kinda glad that it made me stop playing the game.

As for addiction, CS in anyway is the worst.
