i think your wrong, when your life is like mines and you spend half of it floating about on an oil rig on the north sea that PsP soon becomes your best friend, the graphics are much better than Ps1 and probably Ps2 too, and as for the games...as well as some scaled down Ps2/Ps3 games there are also some exellent ones like locoroco and silent hill origins
PSP is a great handheld console it's games are good better graphics than the DS meaning it's got the best graphics ever in the history of Handheld consoles
Hell, I love my PSP. I love the fact I can play import games on it as well as my old PS1 games.
The Legend Of Heroes games are nice old school traditional J-RPGs. Bleach: Heat The Soul series are the best fighting games to hit the PSP. and if you dont understand Japanese, there are plenty of guides on gamefaqs to help out. Not to mention all the multimedia funcionalities it has.
Ever since I got my PSP, my DS took a back seat.
Currently Playing: Saints Row 2 (360), Fable II (360), Doki Doki Majo Shinpan! 2 Duo (DS), Ikki Tousen: EF (PSP), Little Big Planet (PS3)
I get loads of use out of my PSP as well. But then again, I don't use it for gaming only. I got movies and music on it. Granted, I'd rather watch them on a big screen, but when you travel or don't have the option to watch or listen like at home, it is as good as you can get sometimes.
There are also some good games for it to. So I would totally say that it is worth it. Just my two cents though. I like to game while on a break at work. So sue me. :)

God of the UnderWorld as well as the Erratics
I love all of the music capabilities and the internet access... videos are a bonus but when i'm throwing a vase i like havin my tunage available... and afterwards i can go strangle some mobsters on godfather.
Yeah, I absolutely love my PSP. It really shines when you have a PS3 as well. I get so much use out of the remote play feature. I just love getting all my media from my PC through my PS3 onto my PSP on the go.
