Update 05/23/08: Added the emoticons to the shoutboxes

So after the past couple of months, we've seen the shoutbox get overloaded with people, and we also don't see people posting in the shoutbox anymore. We could of seen this coming, as new people come in, the old people don't like the new people or vice versa. Whatever the case may be this solution should help all parties.

Basically you can now create you own shoutbox! what this means is that you can now create one, invite your friends to chat in these shoutboxes. The creator of the shoutbox can delete/ban people from their shoutbox. This way they have total control of people who can post in it.

Now the way to spread the word about your shoutbox is pretty simple. All you need to do is copy/paste the link to the person you want to enjoy. They can then go to the link and enjoy.

As a side note just incase some of you were wondering, there will NOT be points associated with the creation of shoutboxes, nor will you get points for using that shoutbox. I am sure all of you can understand why.

Awesome. Anyway we could get the refresh rate on the user created ones lowered from 24 seconds or is there some other reason for that?
