1) command and conquer ('95) [-the- seminal rts game]
2) the secret of monkey island (this should be on everyone's list)
3) return to castle wolfenstein (-the- precursor to all modern fps games.. cod fans, pay your respects)
4) fallout 2 (eagerly anticipating the sequel)
5) quest for glory: so you want to be a hero (aka: hero's quest) [kings quest can suck it.. qfg is where it's at]
3) return to castle wolfenstein (-the- precursor to all modern fps games.. cod fans, pay your respects)
I never really played RTCW. I played a little on LAN and that was it. I got heavy into FPS with MoH:AA, CoD, and CS.
As far as "classics" you should list the original Wolfenstein, Doom, and Heretic.
i'd be hard pressed to disagree that wolf3d, doom, and heretic are classics - as would anyone, i imagine. however, my goal was to list -my favorite- classic games.. not the end-all-be-all top five classics of all time.
