So, I have to say I'm really looking forward to the release of the game. However, I've been hearing a lot of not so good things about it. Such as you don't actually get a workout. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard anything like this, or anything to at all? Hell, even if anyone else is excited about it.

I'm sure you can get a good workout on it if you want to, but I think most people want it just for the balance games. Some of the yoga and strength training exercises are going to make people realize how out of shape they are.

I've heard you don't get a work out from the Wii itself (like by playing Wii sports), but you do from WiiFit, I think people are hearing wrong and spreading rumors.

So who's actually buying wii fit? I can't resist, the Wii Fit Channel alone has me pretty much sold, I want it most for the goal oriented feedback and I know I'll use it. I workout everyday and I do the whole eating right thing, but weight-loss has always been my biggest struggle. I have my dad's high cholesterol so the fitness lifestyle is mandatory for me. The balance board peripherol has me a little interested, but what I'm mostly looking foward to is seeing what kind of games nintendo and 3rd party developers make to utilize the board creatively.

I'm sold on the fact it calculates your push-ups. It is just a plastic board and I am already capable of doing everything as it is, but as with everything, experience is how you make a final Judgement.
Both the Wii Zapper and Wii Wheel have made their way back into their respective boxes never to see the light of day again, I wonder how the Wii Fit Board will pan out.

I think alot of gamers will try to hold off because it's not really a game, but when the peripheral starts to get utilized properly into future games then more people will feel the need to get it. Just a guess.

The Wii Fit Board is not only a substitute for a house scale but a innuendo instigator too. That's more than enough reasons for someone to purchase one.
I much prefer to watch someone slowly change bent poses as opposed to flapping their arms to a Wario Ware micro game. =D
