okay, i get it, you jsut joined the website, and you thought, holy pants! i can get free stuff. And then you thought but if i want that stuff i need points. At this point your mastery of the website is about half way complete, because of course you then coem to the realization that to get the poitns you need to do stuff. So what do you do? join a conversation in the shout box, NO! make friends and start profile to profile conversatiosn with them, NO! you decide your going to hit up the forums, but instead of just posting in the recent and active topics you post in every topic ever, bumping threads from decemebr to the top of the page! and as if this werent bad enough, your not even provoking furthur discussion, your jsut doign one word psots like "yeah" or "agreed".

The point is its really frakkin annoying, and i hope this rant serves as a warning to any other no0b who tries it. Sorry if this sounded too trollish.

No way dude I am right there with you. Its ridiculous some members much worse than others (Heavy Metal Gamer). I hear that pwned is going to be applying a 20 character forum post limit sooner or later. This will help put an end to this non-sense. Glad someone else was extremely disturbed by this.

LoL! I'm going to have to agree with JX on this one, SzeR0 you are truly turning into a disgruntled mouse LoL.

No need to delete old threads, because some of those old ones might TRULY interest people, but for random people to just go to the bottom of the pile and 1-up every random thread they can = teh gey.

Maybe a new user forum "check here if you understand and agree to the rules" pre-screen, just so they know ahead of time not to go captain insane-o in here. & if you violate the terms of agreement a number of times, just administer the coveted ban hammer.

Yes, these forums will become a jumble of crap if nothing is handled before we get to that point. Having the admin do a ban hammer would only work for a while before people start bitching about people doing their jobs. Which can lead to people leaving the site. Not good. I would suggest a mod function and promote active members into those slots so they can delete as they see the "Agreed" kind of posts. No point that someone should get points for not contributing to the site more than just an "Agreed." My two cents.
