5 games in one package.....u can't go wrong. The games were strong and I would tell you to buy it just to get Portal
this is the best bargin around, although i really only bought it for Team fortress 2, its 5 games on one disc for the price of just one
very good game pack, if your looking for acheivements, look someplace else, probably hardest acheivement game out there, but the games are awesome!!
best bargain around, all 5 games rock (specially portal ftw)
one got old? go to another and platy till that gets old then return to original or keep moving on to other 3 lol
I love it, just needs to get the lag issues fixed on LIVE.
everyone speaks so highly about it...im getting this game o yea i am!!
I freakin love these games! Portal is awesome ftw..can't..stop..playing!
This is a must buy for any fan of FPS. Team Fortress 2 is an amazing online gamer and it's very under rated.
If your looking for a game that is worth the money... check out the Orange Box. It's 5 incredible games for the price of one. Enough Said. If you don't already have this, then you don't know the meaning of the word awesome.
Great Set Of Games Half-Life 2 still is one of the best F.P.S games out Portal a new change of pace on a FPS great game TF2 good multiplayer fun
GET THIS GAME OR YOU ARE NOT A TRUE GAMER !!!!
Orange box pwns. portal is great and my favorite. for those who have played it, "remember when u were creening towards the fire pit and we were like "goodbye" and u were like "o crap!" then we were like "we pretended to murder u" that was great..."
The Orange Box will go down as the best compilation ever. And it's pretty high in the running for best "game" too. Not only did it contain one of the best trilogies in human history, the other stuff, the other stuff we didn't really care about, was astonishingly awesome.
Half-Life is the only series that can give so much character to a guy who is never seen and never says a word. The story keeps you engaged, the combat keeps you constantly on edge, and the Source Engine blows your mind every time. It's hard to believe that such a great franchise could let you down, but people who don't know when to quit usually down if only for that reason. Episode 3 will probubly rock, but it may suck to, all things are possible, but Half-Life 2, HL2 Ep. 1, and HL2 Ep. 2 do not suck, and that's good enough for me.
Team Fortress 2 is ok. There's nothing wrong with it really except the initial lag problems. I just can't excited about a game with no point, just killing endless spawn-babies. I think the art style is awesome, but it's not as cartoony as it appears which is disappointing. It's a good game, it would have been better if you could play multiplayer without Live.
Portal is booch! Booch is a word I just invented to describe how truly awesome this game is because there is no other word that truly describes it. A puzzle game with a zany abstract story, hilarious dark comedy, innovative design, and just long enough to satisfy. I can't think of anything to improve on except that Portal 2: Revenge of GLaDOs doesn't exist and isn't already in my Xbox.
This game will make you a smarter person. That's right, it will make you smarter. It'll make you think, it will make you learn, it will make you clever. Buy it, play it, and than go to college.
The Orange box is summed up by one word, awesome. It's a mixture of 5 different games,Half life 2, Half Life 2 Episodes 1 and 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. I've already played Half Life 2 as it was released about 2 years ago and I have to say it looks better than my PC and the game play is extremely smooth. It still has the loading screens between checkpoints which is a little annoying but it's just a fun as it was playing thru it the first time. Portal which I read was just a filler for the Orange Box is probably the best thing on the disk. It's a puzzle game where you have a gun that opens up a portal that you can travel to another place on the map. It sounds easy but you really have to think about it before you take your actions. Without ruining the story it takes place in a laboratory and you are a willing test subject who is given this gun to create portals and after you complete the tests you will be given a party with cake. As with all games something goes wrong but I won't mention that part. Team Fortress is a online multiplayer game where each player is given a different role to fight other players. You can choose up to nine different class to participate. It reminds me vaguely of a Mod game for Half Life 2 called Dystopia where the concepts are the same. Different classes working towards a common goal.
ALL 5 games RULE!!!!!
Team Fortress 2: online only, could use some split screen....but great gameplay and tons of characters. Needs more of a way to distinguish between team members in-game though. Gets confusing.
Half Lifes: Great psychothriller FPS. What more is there to say? imagine zelda puzzles except hard (LOL) in an FPS style future.
Portal: gameplay is indescribably. Truely innovative.
Overall: GREAT VALUE!!!!! something for any average xbox gamer and by average I mean the ones that play shooters like a religion.
