If they remade this game if only for improved graphics and nothing else and made it for 360 and XBLive I'd buy it in a heartbeat. by far best Mech Sim Ive ever played handsdown.
This by far is the best MechWarrior ever made. The customization of your mech compared to MW:Vengeance is so much better, you are able to put the weapons you want where you want them.
The feel of the game was dark and ominous, when battling outdoors there was always overcast, when battling indoors there was little light. There is something about this game that will keep you playing it. There was also an expansion for this game "Pirates Moon" although I never played it, from what I hear there were more mechs to command and even the Elementals.
I wish there were still servers up and running for this, I would love to find people to play with.
This was my first ONLINE PC game that I remember playing without my brother's help. It was and still is the best of the series. Unlike it's XBOX Ripoff cousin, Mech Assult, MW3 had larger maps and easier mechs to handle. There were more options to alter and customize your mecha and gave the user more control. It's the "Q3" Of the mech series as so to speak and it's a shame that with the release of HW4, The game died quickly, (just like the quake series.)
