I am not really into sport games but this one was actually pretty fun. My brother forced me to try it and I managed to play for a good hour without feeling bored. I wouldn't spend the money on this kind of game... but then, I'm not into the sporty games so, you decide. I suggest at least giving this game a try.. 7/10
This game would get a 9 out of 10, but it's so darn buggy. That said, it's the most realistic baseball game I've ever played, both graphically and in game play. Like in real life, the pitches don't always go where you want them to. Yes, even a scrub like Brett Clevlen can occasionally take Johan Santana yard. That said, the days of Jeromy Burnitz hitting 60 homers in MVP Baseball are over. The rosters are constantly updated online for you to download, so you no longer have to create players left out or manually move people around (unless you're mid-season). You can play your own MP3s in the game (and it will even play your songs after the game where it sounds like it's coming through the stadium speakers). My only other complaint: Rex Hudler is the worst in-game commentator ever. Good thing he's regulated to bench duty in the broadcast booth most of the time.
