This game is easy to hop on and play for a 10 minutes or several hours. This makes it a good pick for a casual gamer that cannot commit a lot of time to the more traditional mmorpg.

traditional mmorpg players will be disappointed in the lack of depth and long term playability. there is nothing to aspire to in this game as anyone with an ounce of game experience will conquer this game in short order.

i found player interaction lacking heavily as all of the non city zones are instanced. the only major player interaction comes in pvp.

pvp has its own issues as it can be impossible to find a competent group either in random arenas or team arenas.

I say this game is best suited for younger players just getting into mmorpgs as a tutorial for better games.

overall i would give guildwars a c.

the upside is the ability to play short duration and have success.

the down side is the lack of depth and detail that we expect from any rpg let alone an mmorpg.

I rather enjoy playing this game, even more so than WoW. I still to this day play it, even though it only takes me approximately 3-5 hours to get max level, armor & weapons on a new character. The real content of the game doesn't start until after you get max level anyways. There are many things to do, such as Hard Mode once you beat a campaign, elite areas, and the new expansion, GW:EN. The only downside of this game is the lack of raiding content. Everything else is as good as it gets. If you are looking to start out, Nightfall is the preferred campaign by most.

I liked this game. Sure, it's not for hardcore gamers, but I prefer to keep my life rather than piss it down the drain with WoW.

This game isn't meant for the hard core RPing player. Its easy to get high level and max materials but limiting it to few skills at a time makes it more skill oreinted rather than, 'ooo i played for 100 hours getting money to get this ultra good item that can kill you no madder how much nooby i am and how good you are'. Guild wars has one of the Best pvp systems ive found yet, it like i said is skill oreinted making pvp even among players so that you don't have to spend hundreds of pointless hours to do well. So in the end its short campaign but great pvp, if your looking for a MMORPG with good pvp Guild wars has the best you can find in my eyes, but campaign whys like they said its short but still fun and addicting. Pvp 10/10 campaign 7/10

This game is more for casual gamers not hard core gamers. Its too easy to max and the materials to get better armor are ridiculous in the GW terms. If u play for maybe a few hours a week its good but not for long term play. I say 5 out of 10.

GW Was a game that only lasted one night, sad to say I maxed out a toon in less then 24 hours after getting the game.

Leveling was too Easy and there was no major depth to the game. Was a major let down as the weapons were all the same style, just different stats.

The game had a good spirt,
6 out of 10
