I don't know where to begin. I've played a lot of RPG games, but I had never truly enjoyed one until this. It has an absolutely perfect system. After playing tabletops, one really appreciates the work and math behind any video game RPG system; Square honed this one to its peak, and then added incredible graphics and a beautiful storyline. Genuine, human characters and an inhuman monster of a villain make this game come to life, even with its now-primitive graphics. But they aren't if you have perspective. And, trust me, if you are a true gamer...you will be awed the first time you summon Ifrit. Play this game. Now.

even with all the graphical advances to the other games, ffVII is still the best story out of all of them.
if they re made this the sales would be astronomical , exactly the same just voices and decent grafic's if they wanna get properly into it they could have the ffxii battle system aswell it would be awesome

doubt we will see a remake but with the teasers they leave in the ending cutsences for crisis Core i wouldn't put it past them to make a remake in secret

i dont know why people love this game as if it was god. i played it and beat it, and i thought it was a fun game but not the best FF ever or the best game ever. i think its over rated. go ahead and bash me for it, but its just my opinion
