such a classic! I remember seeing the live action cut scenes of commanders talking to you and it was awesome.
The best of the command and conquer games. The story was fun, the missions were good, and the units/buildings were well made. Even the music was good.

An excellent runner up in the whole of the franchise. RTS games of today should be modeled based on this behemoth of the 90s.

Sleepless nights playing online, WestWood style. Intense battles that usually lasted hours on end!! Always fun to fire this sucker back up and have a quick skirmish with only infantry & harvesters!!!
The staple of the RTS genre. The story's and cut scenes were well done. The main campaigns are fun and challenging to run through at times.
You play as a commander on either side (Allies or Soviets). Both campaigns offer diffrent, but cohesive missions.
Where this game really shined for me, was the online play. Vs. or Co-Op, i always had a lot of fun playing on the old Westwood network (lol). There were alot a lot of talented modders/scenario creaters who pumped out a lot of new content for Red Alert players.
