This game was a huge let down for me. I'm a big horror fan, and I was pumped about the release, but boy was I disappointed.
The ally AI was TERRIBLE -- probably some of the worst I've ever seen! In addition, the game play was weak, the graphics were mediocre, and the story and sound were also nothing to shake a stick at.
If you absolutely must play this, do yourself a favor and rent it.

I gave it a 5. Also I would tell others that if you're interested in getting this game rent it, don't buy it. It was easy to beat even on hard. There are a few action mini games, where you'd have to hit the correct buttons.. but even in that, say if you hit the wrong button once or twice it still accepts it as the correct one. The story was a good idea, but the ending was very weak. At the final battle it tells you what to do, instead of you trying to figure it out.
The only two characters I'd use for the game is church and black out of the 6 that are part of the squad. Only time I'd use the rest is when it was called on. Church's primary weapon is an automatic pistol and secondary weapon is a sword. Her abilities are to set enemies on fire and to hold enemies in place. Black's primary weapon is a sniper rifle and secondary is a grenade like bullet. Her abilities is telekynesis and ghost shot. The ghost shot is like a max payne like sniper bullet, only that you get to control the bullet and take out a few enemies in one shot.
The last thing I'd like to comment on is the blood. When the creatures would spit blood at you, more like vomit blood in your direction, it looked more like a huge mist. Also on one of the areas, there was blood on the wall. However it was very even on the wall as if you painted it.
