Very fun games, especially on epic timelength.

Just don't get Beyond the Sword expansion. They took away Leonard. :(

Fun for the first few games, but then everything gets a bit dull and samey... and the special nation specific units are relatively useless for the most part since you're usually through that era and back in to generic units before they become of use.

Was great for awhile, but it wore off faster than Civ3 did for me. :(

LOVE this game... you can play it 4 billion times, and no 2 games are alike... the online play is outstanding, too...

Civ IV was a turning point for me when it came to RTSGs. I played other gmaes and would pretty much just let them run while I was playing a console game. With Civ IV i found a lot more stuff to do than just gather and build. Really fun gmae.

Like bloo bear said its fun and addicting. Its well worth its base cost and does well in continueing the series of sidmilers civilization game series. If youd like to hear more about the bases of the game civilization i explain it in my review for the game civiliaztion III. Civilization 4 gets a 9/10

I just find myself playing this over and over again it never gets old, replay value is awesome. This is a big game, with lots of countries you choose to control or to take over, and the expansion packs add more units and even more countries.
