Born under the sign of Pong, I was destined to work in the video game industry. I was an avid player early on and I witnessed the first console wars. Since my father tought computer science, he bought a series of computers for our home, such as the TRS-80, the Apple II, the C64, and numerous PCs. My passion for video games helped me get a great part time job while I was studying, I sold video games in a computer store for 3 years. I was then recruited in 1995 to become a video game reviewer for a local TV show called Micro.Info. After 13 weeks, the host of the show called it quit, so I was offered to replace him. Over the next years, I hosted and produced around 375 shows, and covered E3 on a yearly basis. This was awesome, I managed to meet all the great minds of the video game industry (Will Wright, Robert Williams, Richard Garriot, Sid Meier, Peter Molyneux, and so on). After the show was canceled, I became the editor in chief of jouez.com, where I signed more than 2000 articles and reviews. Then, in 2004, I became the head of public relations of Beenox, a video game developer from Quebec City. At that time, the company was becoming a leading porting house, working on PC/Mac versions of popular computer and console titles such as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. The following year, Beenox became a wholly owned studio of Activision and kickstarted its original development division. Our first console project, Bee Movie Game, was released in 2007 (we worked on the Xbox 360, PC and PS2 versions). Meanwhile, our well managed studio won many awards, mostly for our innovation and entrepreneurial skills, but we also recenly won a best employer awards. Today we are working on many exciting projects, such as the upcoming James Bond title (we are working on the Wii and PC versions). I'm also especially psyched about the fact that in 2008, I will have a chance to test my skills as a game designer on an unannounced project.
