I was thinking that having the option to rate and review games could be something to introduce

though I'm not sure if you want to go in that direction or not.

And although gameshouts are cool, maybe a forum for the games themselves would be nice, too (i.e. a link on the game page pointing to a thread for discussions on that particular game, or possibly even to a forum with subforums for different versions/platforms or for the individual games if it's part of a series ).
They made one thread for each specific game discussion on abandonia.com, but something like the community forums on xfire would be really neat.

I have no idea how much your servers can handle though, or how much room forums take up at all, so just tell me if i'm being stupid and it's impossible at this stage
