Probaly Gordon Freeman, for the sole fact that he's ordinary.

He's not a trained martial artist, he's not a super-soldier wearing a ton of armor, he's not even a fighter.

He's a scientist who gets involved in something big and it's his duty to stop it. But he's just a scientist. Why should he give a fuck?
Why should he fight aliens by himself while the military tries to murder him and cover it up?
