Im looking for a Ps2 game...

That will take me a pretty good time to beat.Lately i've just been breezing through games like they were nothing and i would like a game that actually takes time to beat but is still fun.Now i dont like Strategy or puzzle games.I'm more of a shoot-em-up or hack-n-slash kinda guy.Although i do like RPgs for some reason.
So could you guys recomend something for me?

but also a series I enjoyed but some friends said it sucked was the Onimusha games, I think it was quite a good story and pretty good gameplay, kinda repetitive sword hack n' slash but it's worth a try

I remember playing this on PS2 and was blown away from seeing water effects as good as it had. The waves you left behind as you walked through water I do believe had just started to be done. That and this game was fricken awesome!

Holy shit! It is hard to think back about good games like that. I mean since games like God of War overshadowed them.. sad really as that game series had loads of promise.
