With the new Twisted Metal game being revealed, it's back to the original roots from the team behind Twisted Metal, Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal: BLACK, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, and Twisted Metal: HEAD-ON. With an real detailed storyline featuring the characters of Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grimm, Dollface, and Preacher comes a all-out car combat battle called: Twisted Metal; where the winner gets a wish from the host of Twisted Metal: Calypso.

A Preorder copy of the Game includes the classic vehicle: Axel. The first day Limited Edition copies include the PS2 classic: Twisted Metal Black. Be advised that the redeemable Twisted Metal: Black does not include online play.

I know you played the heck out of the demo. I sadly do not have a PS3.

But I did play the heck out of the original on PS1 and LOVED the game! I am glad they are revitalizing this series. And from what I hear, doing it a good justice.

Don't forget the original team also did Small Brawl, the only games they did NOT do was 3 and 4.

That was one of Sony's biggest screw-ups. Taking away the franchise and handing over development to the 989 crew. 989 never seemed to do ANYTHING right. Everything they rolled out was mediocre at best.

For those interested the Incog/SingleTrac crew also did the PSOne Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012 car combat title after they lost the TM franchise. It was kinda good, but not as high in quality that TM2 was. Worth a trip down memory lane though.
