May 14, 2008, 9:51:00AM, Get Pwned Points Off Of Pwned Game Servers? |
||
I don't see it plausible to give points based off being in first place etc. Also, that would be unfair to other players (who aren't that good) at the game. The only plausible way I think this could work is if a plugin in-game asks you to login with your PWNED.com username and password OR you make a new username and password and it asks you for your pwned.com username (not password) and it gives you points based on in-game time. I.E: 1 hour = 10 points 2 hours = 25 points 5 hours = 100 points 10 hours = 250 points 20 hours = 750 points 40 hours = 2000 points 80 hours = 5,000 points Etc Etc. You may think the points are low but with me, I get in about 20+ hours a week on TF2. 750 points a week is a quite a bit because that's 42,000 a year. Also, it could reset your time every 2 weeks (just like steam) so that the ammount of points being given out get insane. So for example, if you play 2 hours monday, you get 35 points from getting the 1 hour and 2 hour checkpoint bonus.. Then you play another 3 hours tuesday, That's 100 points and the 25 you get on Monday. You play 5 hours wednesday, thats 250 + 100 from tuesday + 25 & 10 from monday That will all add up to 385 in 3 days. Not bad, huh? Sure, it may take you a year to get that boomchair you want, but this would encourage people to go on the PWNED game servers. |

The secret MMORPG to rule them all: Mythos. It's somewhat like Diablo 2. But Diablo 2 was better. and isn't free. and you don't have to get invited. |

I used to play WoW but it was like "Wow... I'm paying $20 a month to kill boars... Fun... [/smash computer]" P.S: I played Daggerspine. My friend beside me (I'm @ school right now) says Sacred is the top guild on Daggerspine. Have you (personally) been there to down Illidan? |

While WoW killed me a little on the inside... Starcraft: Brood War (First RTS), Diablo 1 (First RPG) and Diablo 2 (Favourite RPG) are all amazing. I can't WAIT! Offtopic: Diablo 3? Maybe when Duke Nukem Forever comes out... |

BFG OC 9600 GT. Runs HL2:EP2 at max (including AntiAliasing, Antisoptric filtering, Motion blur, and reflections) Also runs COD4 at max with 4X AA (That's the recommended I could probaly turn AA up to max. EP2 recommends no AA and Trilinear ASF but I can run the game fine at max) Edit: I leave EP2 at the recommended settings because with AA and ASF I see no major difference except things in the far distance are slightly blurrier. Actually, EVERYTHING is blurrier. =_= |

May 5, 2008, 10:03:42AM, 8800GT or 9600GT |
||
I'm not adding up the numbers. This is official benchmarks. The new 9600/9800 series drivers are much more optimized for SLI. If I added the numbers, why would I say the 8800 GT only gets a 30-40% boost in SLI? Anyways, the 9600 GT can play COD4 on high with 4X AA and I can run EP2 on my 9600 GT + E6300 (1.86GHz Dual Core) with max including motion blur, 16x Q+CSAA (Highest AntiAliasing) and 16x Antisoptric filtering with on average 70-140 FPS. |
||
Apr 28, 2008, 10:12:52AM, 8800GT or 9600GT |
||
I'd have to disagree. If you plan on buying a second, buy a 9600GT. The 8800 GT in SLI scales up to about a 30-40% gain but the 9600 GT is much more optimized for SLI and results in usually 100% gains. (Double your performance because double the processors, right?) or in certain cases, Triple (Tri-SLI?) The 9600 GT also uses less power and is cooler. |

When people said that the PS3 looks like a George Foreman Grill, photoshoppers quickly took to the idea. Soon enough, someone ripped out the innards of a PS3 and put a grill in there. Full Article: http://www.engadget.com/2006/11/20/the-real-ps3-grill-cooks-food-delivers-lousy-gameplay/ |

||
Wow, It appears the 9800GX2 will rape the 8800 ULTRA, considering it's lower than the price of a 8800 GTX. =_= Also, the 9600GT has already been released and it rapes the 3870 for a lower price. The 8800 GT still manages to come ahead, and you can get one for $209 off newegg and you'll get the 9600GT for around $179 |

Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach, mainly because his bankai is kickass. Another one is Kakashi from Naruto (Japanese). If you read the manga, you learn a bit more about his history. So sad. :( And Rurouni Kenshin/Kenshin Himaru from Samurai X (OVA... Original Video Animation) |

Feb 25, 2008, 11:13:32PM, Audiosurf: Full Game & Demo Available Now |
||
I personally have this game on steam now (Thanks BlueWolf :) Still Alive is actually hard on Expert Ninja Mono! [/insert fist shake] I spent about an hour playing through 3 portal songs and 1 TF2 song, and I tried an interesting game called Synaesthete. I recommend buying Audiosurf through Steam. It downloaded quickly (Over 400 kB/s only took me like what... 5-20 minutes max?) and it was a 350mb download. It comes with the Orange Box Soundtrack (Hl2, HL2 EP 1+2, Portal, and TF2) and you can use any of your own songs. It's totally worth $9.95 While you're at it, also check out Garry's Mod 10. It's also $9.95 and really awesome. Have fun... and go surf your audio! |
