I think I will try the euro servers. From what ive heard end game pvp and pve will be pretty big, and I wouldnt be able to do thagt playing on the US servers due to the time difference (well, and go to work the next day loL!) so i think Ill try it on the euro, and buy the US version if euro sucks.

thanks robinhood, for suggesting the holding the fingers more perpendicular, that's cut down on the issue by like 90%.

i agree. I feel no legendaries at all, for anyone in any battle.

Also, thats good for the potions. One per pkmn per battle, sounds reasonable.

Anyone else for their two cents on these questions?

This will sound noobish BUT.

I breezed right through easy mode on GH3 without having to repeat any songs save for 1 or 2. But now I am having trouble with medium and the blue chord that was added.

Why? Because I cannot seem to move my ring finger without moving my pinky... thereby hitting that blue button when I dont need to. Did anyone else have this problem and how did you stop it?

ok so the general vibe I am getting is the following:

--No man made items for initial tourny/ gym leaders allowed one full restore per pkmn per battle

--Berries/plates/held items ALLOWED - I agree with this. Its a part of strategy, and the pokemon holding the berry doesnt get to hold a second item such as a plate and vice versa anyways, so I dont think it will be a big deal.

--NO legendaries for TOURNEY or GYM LEADERS

--Level matching YES



Now onto some more questions, of which are posted in the top post:

-How many potions are challengers to gym leaders allowed to use if any?

- How about no legendaries for gym leaders, but maybe for the elite 4 players?



I like the idea of an elite 4, but again it all depends on how many people we get involved. We obviously have to have enough players to make up a set number of gym leaders, as well as a high eschlon of elites AND have people who are basic trainers/challengers to challenge those gyms and elites for badges and prestige. Im going to go ahead and start listing interested players with a list in the orginal post, assuming everyone here is indeed go. ALSO, I will start filling in the rules section, and because it's early there is plenty of time to refine them so don't worry if you odnt initially agree with something.

Like someone else said, video games can and do have an impact on young minds much like other forms of media. They may pick up a fighting game and think it would be a good idea to emulate those moves with a friend or sibling. The greatest deterrent in preventing kids from reinacting the violence they see in the games they play is not ratings, but better parent involvement. It is the responsibility of a parent who allows young kids to play video games to sit and watch them play the first few times, and explain to them that the violence in the game is pretend, and to do such acts in real life could seriously hurt or kill other people. Quite frankly, I was playing GTA from such a young age it was before I knew what drugs were! However, Because I grew up playing games that enabled me to traffic drugs, beat people with a baseball bat, and kill hookers doesn't mean I commit the act in real life.

And as with anything, it has to be in moderation.
