yeah guitar hero 3 is good and i don't have any experience with wii's rockband, but I don't think the wii is ever going to trump the 360 or ps3 because of the lack of a DLC. As, a wii owner, this is pretty disappointing.

you have to have your ipod or iphone jailbroken before you can do this. however just recently apple has released the app store on itunes where you can purchase apps that are either for a price or free, depending on the ones you choose to get. These look like they would be more reliable but you may just want to jailbreak it if you don't want to be spending any money on these things. i jailbroke mine and was pleased with the turnout of it. i recommend it if you know what you are doing. otherwise don't bother and just but the apps.
