pseudopseudo (Imagine that!) Currently, I'll throw down in Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3. Of course, when Saint's Row 2 drops, you'll find it hard to pull me away. :D |

I bought it about a month ago, and I think I'm one of the few people that got exactly what I'd expected. I've lost about 9 pounds so far (well, not just with WiiFit - with a combo of WiiFit, an hour of cardio 3 nights a week, and eating a little healthier), and I have to say that it actually is a workout. I try to get in at least 30 minutes a day (usually closer to 45), and by the end, I'm always sweaty enough to need to shower. I have to agree with Fisky in that some of the balance points seem a little off. So much so that if I try to concentrate on where they're telling me to balance, half the time I'll lose my balance completely. My favorite games would have to be the Ski-Jump and the Tightrope Walk. I'd complain about the price of the package, but I plan on utilizing the board for upcoming games like Skate It and Shaun White Snowboarding, so I think the board will definitely see more usage in the future than just for WiiFit. :D |

I personally don't think you can really call yourself a true "gamer" if you've got so much hate for any system out there. (You CAN call yourself a "fanboy" though.) Sure, have your favorites - everyone does. (Mine are currently my 360 and my PSP.) However, if you can't open your eyes and see the other consoles for the good things they each have - that's a pretty epic fail. (That's only my humble opinion, of course.) |

For those of you saying the graphics are bad - what exactly are you comparing them to? To be completely fair, you have to compare the graphics to the other handhelds out there - and in that respect, the PSP blows all the other handhelds out of the water. The only thing that could come close is the iPhone, and that's not really known as a gaming platform just yet. Sure, the game library wasn't the best when the PSP debuted... or even after a year. Now, however, the game library rivals the DS' in variety and quality. I'd argue that in many aspects, it's better. Add in the fact that you can play movies, listen to music, surf the web and listen to net radio on it - AND utilize the PSP's Remote Play to interact with the PS3 (without resorting to mods, hacks, or having to buy anything extra) - I'd have to say that the PSP is well worth the money. For the record - I have both the PSP (Silver Slim) and a DS Lite, and while I love both, my PSP gets way more screen time than my DS. |
