i got about 600 bucks and a couple giftcards and some clothes with the money i bought so far: NeoPower 500W modular power supply for my computer Shadowrun for computer. 320GB Seagate SATA hdd. and i blew some of my money on useless shit but im getting my christmas from my dad today sometime.

My gtx was brought to its knees on Vista :( </3 Play Crysis on a 24" and you'll feel my pain...or be jealous - either or ;) :D i play it on a 22" and i dont feel any pain. my gts runs it fine at 1280x1024 at high. its demanding but its not that bad if you can live without AA

alright, not a problem. lol well, there is a problem. i dont have a clan anymore i just left my clan and i am now looking for a new clan. so if anyone is looking for a cal-o player let me know. i can compete in higher leagues but right now i dont want the stress, i just want to take it easy.

I'm sure your point is perfectly legit, but I'm not much for clans. I mean, I'll join a clan and whatnot, but not to seriously compete. I'm more for dominating solo or just with friends, so for me, everything is perfectly fine and dandy. Most of the time, I don't really play multiplayer. I'll play singleplayer on Veteran. For me to play a game for a while it has to be able to be competitive because thats just my personality. GRAW had a great coop for that. Loved coop in that game. COD4 will last for a while. that game is wonderful and its no different than the battlefield series as far as run and gun goes. and people still play those games a lot.

Building your own is the best way to go, but if you don't know how to do it, things can go very wrong, especially if you want a good gaming machine. You can have a company like VooDoo custom-build your machine, and I think that's the best way to go if you don't know how to build a computer from scratch. For a gamer, you're going to want no less than 4 gigs of RAM (I personally prefer DDR2), and a good processor (check out the Intel Xeon Quad Core system- Note: THIS SUCKER REQUIRES EXCELLENT COOLING! The hotter a processor or processor set runs, the more cooling equipment you'll need, and that will usually make your computer louder, though I have not tried the Liquid-Cool systems yet...). lol wrong. unless you have vista it wont even see 4 gigs. 32bit xp wont see it. 64bit xp will but no games are supported for 64bt. dont use xeon, go with a q6600 and those things will overclock like crazy and do it on stock cooling.
