I was looking to get some impressions on what they thought of the game before I jumped in and abandon WOW. I'm specifically interested in how the crafting element works. Is it highly customizable like SWG or is it plain and boring like WOW. I trust the opinions of pwned more than Gamespot or IGN. Thanks!

I would like to give this game a try but after the Star Wars Galaxy, debacle I can't force myself to give SOE another dollar. It's a shame because it looks real good too :(

umm not trying to be a ass but umm i played only maybe 700 games of halo3 a hr a day and i'm a lvl 45 thats a lot easyer then a MMO unless you play LOTR i maxed out in the beta with one of my friends and wow thats just dum to start know i tryed to talk to people to show me some places that i need to go and they just called me a nub or tryed to make it sound like i wants idems for free. i don't play games if someone is going to make it easyer for me but they don't belive it. wow isnt a bad game but for how long its been out and the lvl cap is still the same after how many exp packs that just sceens alittle dum

There has been only one expansion for wow which raised the cap from 60 to 70 and the next expansion will also raise the level cap again to 80. The idea with MMO's is to play with your friends are find out some other options to help you out. There are plenty of helper sites out there where you can search for your quest and it will give you step by step instruction. If you played the same amount of time in wow you'd probably be around level 50-55 which isn't the max but neither is rank 45.

Not really a discussion but a truth, I already have one level 70 character and another one about to hit 70 and while it takes a little bit of skill to play and especially PvP, the time investment is still much, much more.

Edited to say that just because its a timesink doesn't mean its bad. It's just something you want to invest your time in. Same thing with getting Rank 50 on Halo 3 yeah it takes skill but it also takes time to do it legit

I've had one RROD and the other one was a disc unplayable error. I just got it back a coupe days ago as a matter of fact.
